TAD METALS' goal is superior quality and customer service for the OEM, fabricator, machine shop, architectural and distribution markets.

In 1997, TAD METALS started an investment program in North America by acquiring several regional metals distributors. Today, TAD's network covers nearly the entire US and the South East of CANADA. The Company has a unique capability in the surface conditioning of flat rolled products. A full line of long products was added to compliment the existing product mix and to service new markets.

Since then, TAD METALS has totally re-directed its core business, moving from simple organization of flat products to an integrated system of activities based on a strong service commitment and a network of decentralized distribution branches.

Entering in detail:
TAD METALS' two main strategies have been to develop:

- specialized transformations for niche-market products with greater value-added and less cyclical market fluctuations, through the creation of decentralized sales branches, which can carry out minor transformations independently; and,
- a large-scale distribution network for standard products, structured for the retail market and based on "just in time" capability for a wide range of products, rather than just flat products.
